Wrote: wrote: The new driver will cause a non-stop BSOD with win7/64-bit. Hi - I'm running Windows 7 Enterprise x64 on an X301 connected to a 45K1615 with no BSOD issues. I am however having an issue with the audio - no audio from front port of USB replicator. Have tested speakers with other sources and they work fine. I can switch audio back to the internal X301 audio but cannot get it working on the USB replicator - any thoughts anyone? I suggest you open Control Panel -> Sound and check if the external audio entry is there.

If it is, make it default; otherwise, it should be a driver installation issue. Wrote: I downloaded the new driver (posted 11/24) Driver version 1.6.72.0 (Windows 7) -- but when I try to install it on 32bit Windows 7 Professional, the install program stops and I recevied an error message: 'This driver is for Windows 7 computers only. Please contact your vendor for a non-Windows 7 driver installer' Anyone get this message, or get around it?

I've tried to install as administrator or just as a normal user with the same results. Shlyah da podzvigu petrarca i scepanidi znak byadi. It's strange.

I didn't see this error on Win 7 32-bit. Taking the update from seemed to stop the continuous boot cycle. Download and install the.exe, then let Windows 7 go find the relevant updates - was automatic on my X301. That seemed to take a while. Once you start plugging peripherals into the replicator, it seems to need to go get updates for those too - for example for my Lenovo laser mouse. But the critical boot cycle has stopped.

But still can't get Ethernet access through the replicator. Anyone got a solve for that? And I haven't tested an external monitor yet. I have been having the same issue with the Lenovo USB Port Replicator with DVI (FRU P/N 51J0452, Model M01060). Just spent 2 hours on the phone with a Lenovo representative.
