Playmobil interactive is now defunct, and when it disappeared so did any official mention of Ubisoft's connection with this game (The same goes for the two other Playmobil interactive titles- Alex Builds His Farm and Laura's Happy Adventures- but those are a little too simple to LP, sorry). Ubisoft's name is plastered all over the box, however, so the removal of Hype from their search program was probably a contractual thing more than anything else, especially since the game isn't terrible; it's really actually very good. I must've had excellent timing, because from what I can gather Hype sold exceedingly poorly, and was probably pulled very quickly. Hype is an action adventure title, and lasts about 9 hours. That was on a quick non-100% run I recently did, so I'd imagine this time around it'll be significantly longer. The combat system is.interesting, and it has enough collectables and side quests to reach a pretty satisfactory level of depth. The difficulty really ramps up towards the end, and I'm ashamed to admit that I returned to the game several times over my childhood, each a couple of years apart, starting at 8, and only finally beat it when I was around 13.
